Well-known quilt artists and Alliance Board members Yvonne Porcella and Karen Musgrave have collaborated on the quilt, "The Voice of You and Me 2006," to support the work of The Alliance for American Quilts. The third in the series of quilts by the artists titled "The Voice of You and Me" has art quilters Porcella and Musgrave returning to their art quilt roots after last year’s naïve rendition of a Baltimore Album-style quilt.
When Karen Musgrave was asked about her experiences with making the quilts, she said “Each quilt has provided me not only with a great learning experience and a chance to work with Yvonne but most importantly, an opportunity to do something I love to support an organization that is amazing.”
